What is the Dress Code? ​

Both our Ceremony and Reception is strictly formal attire. Our wedding will be a day and night of elegance and opulence with a theme of "Modern Victorian". Dress in your most glamorous attire with the emphasis of extravagance.

 

Tailored Suit & Tie only for Men and Extravagant Long Gowns only for Women. Although, we do not have preferred colours, please no whites. Think you are overdressed? Definitely not at The Jalps!

Is there a specific dress code for the ceremony in the Church? ​

We kindly request that our guests respect the sanctity of our Wedding Ceremony and wear modest attire. We appreciate outfits with covered shoulders, long dresses/gowns and minimal plunging necklines. You are welcome to bring change of clothes for the reception. ​

What time should I arrive?

We ask everyone to be seated in the sanctuary of our Ceremony by 12:30PM. To be followed by Social Hour at 5:30PM at our Wedding Reception.​

Can I bring a plus-one and/or Are Kids Invited? 

We’re so excited to celebrate our love with all of our guests. Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests listed on the invitation. Additionally, while we love kids, our wedding will be an adults-only event. Thank you for understanding!

Will the event be outdoors or indoors?

Both our Ceremony and Reception are indoors with the exception of our Social Hour at the outdoor garden. We cannot control the weather, therefore we will embrace our special day in rain and sunshine.

Do I have to RSVP? 

Yes, please! We want to make sure we have everything planned perfectly, so we’d really appreciate your RSVP by May 18th, 2025.

Do you have a Wedding Registry?

Your presence is truly the greatest gift! If you wish to honour us with a gift, a contribution toward our future together would be truly appreciated.

Will there be transportation to/from venue?

Please note that transportation will not be provided. We kindly ask guests to arrange their own travel. Parking will be available at the ceremony and venue. Thank you for understanding!
